New Online Registration for All New Courses

Online Registration for New Arabic Courses

The Courses currently on offer, are the following:

1. Read Arabic & Al-Qurãn (from Lesson One). This FREE new Video course will be available to everyone from 5 June 2023, Insha-Allah!

2. Beginners - Intermediate Understand Al-Quran - Books One-Three of this course will be offered this year, starting in July 2023. From Books Four onward will be offered from February 2024, In-Sha-Allah!;

3. Speak Arabic Today - This course will start from September 2023, In-Sha-Allah!

All courses will be available on line or via WhatsApp.

All new courses will contain audio & video support lessons.

Further details about these courses will be posted before their commencement.

Idrees Kamish

I am passionate about learning different languages, especially Arabic. Currently I speak English, Afrikaans and Arabic fluently. I also understand Dutch and German when I read books or whatch movies in these languages. Furthermore, I have an understanding of isiXhosa as well as a few other languages. I teach Arabic & Quran Studies at a variety of institutions and online, via the videos I produce. I also write Arabic learning materials and books for those who want to learn the language or understand Al-Quran. I am computer literate. In addition to using MS Word and Excel, I use PowerPoint on a daily basis. I also use Publisher. Furthermore, I use a variety of Video Editing as well as Audio Editing Programmes to produce the video and audio lessons. Over the years I have been blogging about my Arabic classes as well as my other interests.

Read & Understand Selected Short Surahs of Al-Quran (with Tajwid)

Assalãmu Alaykum Wa Rahmat-ul-lãhi Wa Barakãtuh

The 6-week course, Read Al-Qurãn with Tajwid (& Understanding)

will be offered by Ustaadh Idrees Kamish

at the Heideveld Mosque

on Monday Evenings (from 6 February 2023)

between 18.45 & 20.30,

In-Shã-Allãh!!!

(This is not an Arabic Grammar Course.)

THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING:

1. Reading all the letters of the Arabic Alphabet in their different forms;

2. Reading 6-9 Short Surahs of Al-Qurãn (with understanding);

3. Reading with proper Tajwĩd;

THE COURSE IS AIMED AT ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS, IE. PEOPLE WHO:

1. Can Read the Arabic Alphabet (although not perfectly);

2. Cannot Read Al-Qurãn with Tajwĩd;

3. Cannot identify the different words in Al-Qurãn;

4. Do not understand Arabic at all (in Al-Qurãn).

EVERYBODY IS WELCOME TO ATTEND (although Attendance is not compulsory)

Class Attendance is FREE, however a donation of R120 - R250.00 ($10 -20 for international students) will be payable to receive all notes, exercises & audio/ video lessons via WhatsApp/ Telegram.
