Speak Arabic in 2013

Assalaamu Alaykum Everyone

Initially I intended not to start a new Conversational Arabic Course this year (2013), since I had intended to rather concentrate on the existing students and improve their skills.  I must say: Al-hamdullilaah the students who started the Speak Arabic Today course last year, did very well.  They've managed to complete 6 lessons, covering 600 sentences in Arabic.

One of my friends sent me a link to this beautiful on-line Quran Reader.  I find it very useful for searching certain ayaat in the Quran and then listening to a variety of well-known Qaaris reciting them.

Ramadhaan Health Guide

I would like to share a very useful publication called the Ramadan Health Guide - a guide to healthy fasting with all Muslims during this holy month of Ramadhaan.  In fact, according to the authors, its also useful to Non-Muslims who may be fasting during any time of the year.

Two New Lessons Available

As Muslims, we are all aware that our holiest month, Ramadhaan (The month of Al-Quran) is around the corner.  Since this is the month in which all Muslims should strive to increase their Allah consciousness and attain closeness to the Almighty Creator, we are automatically urged to Read Al-Quran more and to increase our understanding of this Holy Scripture.

As a gift to all Muslims (as well as non-Muslims, who would like to understand the beautiful Arabic Language), I have completed two new lessons:

Al-hamdulillah here is the third set of 100 words, phrases and sentences. If you study these words and sentences carefully, you'll soon be able to use all 300 words, phrases and sentences with ease. It is important to have an understanding of the grammatical structures as well though. These structures are explained in class.
